Landscape and figure...

After looking through some old images of mine I came across these, when taking them I found that they were extremely personal to me, and this is something I would like to have in this project. I was trying to create a fairytale like feel in these images. I like the idea of a sequence of events...(Yes Hugh they are black and white...but tough!)

the top one of these has caught my attention quite profusely! (maybe it's the bare back?) but I think it's something beyond that! I love the contrast between the rough tree bark and the smooth skin and the sharp undergrowthy stuff! to quote hugh "why black and white?" lol. I like it in black and white, because of the reasons above about the contrast in textures and such. x

i remember these! oh the days of foundation. i agree with joe - these images look good in black and white. i think it adds to the idea of fairy tale and myth. i do like the top one but i prefer the bottom one in a way as i think theres more movement and the fact that you cant see your face makes it more mysterious and magical. good depth of field too.
